Effective logo designs

I like this design. It is simple uses only 2 colours would work as a black white as well. Being a comedy recording company the microphone robot graphic works well it gives it a light hearted comical feel, but also helps tell us that it is a recording company.

This is a design for an app game. I like it for different reasons. The colours are bright and fun the words seem to jump out at me. The gradient brings the logo graphic to the foreground and gives it a 3D effect. This logo is perfect for an app game the graphics are clean and emphasise the text. I can imagine this popping up as a splash screen when i load the game.

I have chosen this logo as something more classy. It is for a hotel/resort. Gold on black gives it an upper class, expensive, exclusive feel. It is minimal in design there is not a lot going on although there is a sense of movement. The text is fine so it's not in your face, but capitalised so it gives it a sense of importance with out being bold. I get the feeling that this would be a five star hotel.

·      Add more detail to my gravestone design.

·      Find a good font to use.

·      Lighten the subject.

·      Focus more on the positive, not so much on the negative.

·      Some people wouldn’t wear a shirt with a gravestone or grim reaper on it.

·      More emphasis on the idea living on than the man dying.

·      Try not to make it look like the idea is being left behind.
