T-Shirt Quote

T-Shirt Quote
You can imprison a man, but not an idea. You can exile a man, but not an idea. You can kill a man, but not an idea.
- Benazir Bhutto
Benazir Bhutto, fondly called “the Daughter of the East” became a victim of terror attacks. She joins the rank of leaders who have been felled by those who wish to suppress their Ideas. Twice elected the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir faced many challenges. Benazir Bhutto was herself imprisoned, exiled and killed, because of her ideas, but her ideas live on and her quotes inspire us to rally against mindless dominance and injustice.
To me this quote is about not being afraid to voice your ideas even in the face of imprisonment, exile or even death. Feelings of fear, injustice, sadness, confrontation, anger and oppression are countered with hope, courage, strength, and the belief in the power of an idea to live on long after the person who first acted on it has gone.

This is an anti-war design. The soldiers carrying guitars instead of guns represents the designers desire for people to use music and the arts to express their differences not force or violence.

This design also has an anti-war message with a light hearted approach. The white silhouettes on the khaki background is quite efective.

This design represents the theme not matter how big you are someone will always try to burst your bubble.

This design represents freedom. I like the contrast between the black silhouette of the woman and the white doves.

This design is about setting free the ideas in your head. It is a very powerful graphic, but also has a comic element which makes it quite appealing.

This design represents technology controlling or overtaking nature. Oncea again i like the silhouettes and effective use of a single colour for contrast.
